Abstract painting of molecules found in tea: Catechin is an antioxidant, which gives green tea its flavour; Theaflavin is also an antioxidant found in black tea, giving it colour and flavour; Thearubigin is also an antioxidant phenol which adds colour in tea.
The paintings are inspired by Australian Aboriginal art, and are built up in layers of acrylic and enamel paint. The molecular structure of each compound is drawn on the back of the canvas
