"Te Araroa Trail in the South Island"

Impression from New Zealand and Te Araroa trail. Somewhere along the way in the north parts of South Island, in the Mount Richmond Forest Park.
This is my interpretation of my brother's Pblo photography ( Instagram @pblo28 )
I tried to capture the mood of the moment and place and flow with it while painting. The painting has some impasto. Sometimes I used painting knife and also mixed colours directly on the canvas.
