Artwork description:

We often hear Tawny owls in our local green space, usually at dusk. The owls will often call to each other across the trees. The 'twit twoooo' sound is actually a male calling and then a female owl responding. I decided to make a screenprint based on one I came across perched on a dead tree trunk one evening. It gave me a disdainful stare before it flew off into the night!
Working from the sketches I made, I created detailed artwork which transferred on to a silkscreen. Each colour on the final print required a different screen and artwork to be prepared. I then hand-printed a small limited edition of 14.
Due to the handmade nature of this artwork, each print in the edition will have slight variations. It will It will be slightly different from the pictured print. Your print will be exclusively numbered and signed by me in pencil.
Your print will be wrapped in acid free paper and posted in either a sturdy cardboard tube or envelope to protect it.
All artworks posted within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed and usually arrive the day after despatch.
