Original artwork description:

Winterberry, wearing a headdress of wildflowers with trailing gold whisps, an original oil on canvas board with 3D flowers and a layer of wonderful resin which gives the painting a wonderful sheen and gloss.

Resin artworks are original oils on canvas board, embellished with pressed flowers or gold/silver and then a final layer (or two) of resin is applied. Coloured resin is sometimes also applied for a further 3d effect or to highlight the motion of the animals hair. Some un-resined work can have resin applied - please contact me to discuss.

An original oil on canvas board, I have given her a tiara on her forehead made of real dried flowers and ferns.

The whole painting has been resined so that a glossy coating is achieved and also giving a glass-like finish which makes the colours really pop.

The flowers are also fully resined and a 3-D finish is achieved as selected flowers, whilst being coated with resin, protrude from the level of the painting.

Painted on canvas board, 14 x 14", unframed.

Signed on front and reverse.
