Original artwork description:

Bright heavily textured painting depicting an early morning view of Loch Fyne at Tarbert in Argyll. The second in a series of paintings inspired by my recent visit to Argyll, Scotland.

Initialled on the front and signed on the back.

Created with palette knife and brush on a professional quality 'M&W ' canvas.

Incorporates my characteristic use of reflective paints to capture the light. This painting features 'Golden' brand American professional paints which I have become addicted to using.

I have incorporated phthalo blue, light violet, ultramarine blue, manganese blue and the extra special interference blue, interference violet and interference gold which catches the light in different ways ( but are eye wateringly expensive !). Painted black on the sides so you may choose not to frame but I believe would greatly benefit from framing in an offset white frame. The last image shows my impression of a choice of frame.

Supplied corded and ready to hang and supplied with a certificate of authenticity

Materials used:

acrylic
