Sitting high on a hill overlooking the fishing village of Tarbert and Loch Fyne in the Argyll & Bute region of Scotland is Tarbert Castle, dating back to the 14th century, this ruin also has links to Robert The Bruce, King Of Scots. Work on the castle and surrounding grounds have been undertaken in recent years to make any visit more pleasurable. In my original acrylics painting I have captured the scene just as dusk begins to fall.
Painting is signed on the front.
cotton canvas, acrylic paints, satin varnish
