Palimpsest - in ancient times this was the designation for a manuscript written on parchment that had already been in similar use. When I dance tango, I often feel transported back into the past. I wanted to reflect the connection of times with this plot.

The painting is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
