Original artwork description:

Out of all the paintings from the collection ‘Tangled’ none are so literal than this one, crowned with the title ‘Tangled.’ It is an exploration of chaos through line art, emphasizing the contrast of blues and reds, accented by saturated background colors. The painting came to be during a time change in my life which brought with itself a lack of balance and uncertainty.

‘Tangled’ was featured in the group show at Plaxall Gallery, New York City at the Inside/Outside show curated by Nancy Bruno. The exhibition centered around the many experiences and perspectives of mental Illness. Visually communicating Mindfulness, Contemplation, or Meditation, as well as the experience of healing, suffering, and the stigma of mental health from the outside looking in or from the inside looking out.

Painting is framed in a 22" x 30" Metal frame is made from extremely rigid and high-quality aluminum with a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant color finish. The frame comes with Clear Framing Grade Acrylic that offers beautiful clarity at half the weight of glass and many times the impact resistance. Additionally, it blocks some ultraviolet light.

Materials used:
