Original artwork description:

I am interested in human traces and make sculptures using collected human hair. My two dimensional work is linked to this and gives me space to think about my sculptures and installations. I have developed calligraphic shapes from the way loose hairs lay on surfaces. Sometimes they are shown in small drawings, but they can also be room sized sculptural installations. My drawings and paintings sometimes hint at psychological states, often trying to gain order from disorder, or playing with the fear of the abject. Tangle is one of these. In black woodgrain frame.

Materials used:

charcoal and chalk pastel
