Yamil Picco

Born in Villa de las Rosas, province of Córdoba, Argentina in 1985.

He works mainly with the theme of landscape, starting from a clearly emotional point of view. "We can see a palette of strong identity, where the objective is not the anecdotal and/or costumbrista as most of the landscape painters from Cordoba tend to do.

Yamil dramatises the scene by overemphasising light and shade, imposing light brushstrokes that suggest and capture the moment of the day, with a warm colouratura, generating both stillness and plenitude.
