Artwork done outdoors in the streets of Tampere, in the watercolor competition of the XXVII Watercolor Congress in Tampere - Finland, during this month of August. This work was awarded the THIRD PRIZE. In this cityscape painting of Tampere’s main street, in complementary colours, I capture the vibrant essence of a rain-soaked street, using watercolours to reflect light and colour in an impressionist style. The reflections on the wet pavement and the moving tram convey a sense of movement and freshness, while the church in the background adds a touch of tranquillity and permanence. This piece evokes the ephemeral beauty of everyday moments, filling any home space with energy and excitement
