This painting depicts single handed sailing through the wild seas. A true test of the persons nature and resolve to battle the elements. The tiger waves represent the fierce roar of the ocean waves that surround the yacht.

I try to convey energy and danger, the thrill and excitement of being on the open sea, often alone just oneself against nature. When the weather and sea conditions are wild, the waves threaten to engulf those near but also act as protection keeping the vessel and crew afloat carrying them safely home. Despite the loom of the waves the vessels in my paintings do not appear to be in peril, rather they are merely riding the storm through to the other side.

Bold and striking this artwork will be a talking point in any room.

This large blue and white abstract sailing painting is 100cm wide x120 cm high acrylic paint on boxed canvas. The sides are painted so there is no need to frame the artwork. The painting comes ready to hang using attached D rings and picture cord.
