Artwork description:

Single plate woodcut of an amazing hedgegrow of South East Asia's rainforest. It felt so animated and almost figurative I immediately decided to do some field sketches and work it into a print. Very satisfied with this translation and how all the details rendered onto paper
The print is on wonderful Japanese Hosho paper traditionaly, hand registered using a bamboo barren.
Limited edition of 21, signed and titled underneath the image

Materials used:

relief printing ink on Japanes Hosho paper
