Taking Side is an original artwork created with acrylic colours on canvas.
The edge is painted in black and ready to be hung up.
It will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
I often paint about contrasts as this is what is beautiful about many things in life. In this painting, the top-half is reminiscent of a steamed-up mirror, with droplets of condensation cascading down it as we gaze at our reflection. The dense, black, rippled lower half is impenetrable, like the dark moods we can find ourselves in from time to time, but the contrasting strip of gold leaf is the ray of hope that always shines through, even during our hour of despair. There is always hope!
My point of view:
I think that there is never a right or wrong way to make art.
The most important thing is trying. Do not raise any barriers that prevent you from expressing yourself.
Just do it and make something.
