Original artwork description:

I'm always drawn back to the ocean particularly through more emotional times. I love the sea. It always puts life into perspective. Whenever I'm lucky enough to visit I spend a lot of time watching the sea crash and swirl around the rocks below. Such a powerful force. The turquoise colour of the sea in this painting is inspired by the very south of Cornwall. This painting is an oil on canvas and ready to hang. The edges are painted a Paynes grey.

Materials used:

Oils, cold wax and linseed oil on canvas
