Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel drawing was done “en plein air” from my apartment balcony in Nangang, Taipei City looking towards the Hsin Yi area and Taipei 101. The evening I drew this was a hot and steamy tropical summer evening with the monsoon rains bringing lots of clouds. It made the top of the Taipei 101 building appear and disappear into the clouds. It is always special to see this because the lights will reflect onto the clouds creating special effects and views, that is why the clouds covering the 101 spire are bright white as the building lights are illuminating it. For a short while this was the world’s tallest building until they built one bigger in Dubai.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
