Original artwork description:

Mexican food is by far my favourite food, and I've always had a fascination with Mexico, as you can see by the books used as a stand in one of the photos here. And during 2020 lockdown, with the usual restaurants and street food markets closed down, good quality Mexican tacos are the food I've missed the most.

This painting depicts a hand holding a soft corn taco with guacamole and beans, being scattered with grated cheese, sour cream, and a squeeze of lime juice. Delicious!

I've painted Mexican food in the past - check out the other paintings in my shop - but this new A4 painting is a development of that style in that it has a human hand incorporated in it. As usual the emphasis is on colourful graphic impact rather than realism, using blocks of colour separated by thick black outlines.

The end result is a bold, bright, and original artworks that would brighten any room in the house.

It is painted in acrylics and Posca paint pens on thick high quality A4 paper. It is signed and dated on the back, as pictured.

PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in an A4 frame for display purposes.
