A forest of colors, mysterious and shifting, as if the viewer peers through a series of translucent veils. This work evokes the layered complexity of perception, with each stripe of color suggesting a hidden reality behind the next. There’s a tension between the organic and the abstract, with hints of figures or shapes barely discernible, lurking in the layers. This is a visual representation of how dreams sometimes feel—at once solid and intangible, as if reality is slipping away, only to be replaced by something new and mysterious. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
