This Oil Painting on panel began as an exploration into the world of color and edge. An abstract more or less. I began to see different shapes that made me think of sharks and water and so I started to paint that. the girl and the goldfish came into the picture much later. She is the daughter of a good friend of mine and I began, again. It continued to evolve and tried to stop at the right point in time. Who knows? I think I stopped at the right time. It is an engaging piece and read into it whatever you like.
Despite our age or size, don't ever underestimate the power of resolve and confidence and strength!
