Artwork description:

A complex Reduction Linocut showing a woman swimming through water, with the reflections of the sun on the ripples above.

This is a limited edition created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted as the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Materials used:

Lino printed on 200g Snowdon Cartridge paper using linseed oil based inks
