Original artwork description:

My biggest painting until now! I worked with palet knifes and big brushes on a big wooden panel with oil paint with cold wax medium. It has many, many layers... it has a magical atmosphere with beautiful soft colors.

Inspired by the waters around my studio filled with water lilies, mostly the yellow ones (some call them 'brandy bottles') I love these large thick leaves floating on the banks. Wobbling on the water, covering and shading the water life beneath and reflecting the summer sky with a promise of beatiful flowers..

The painting is not varnished, to keep a mat look.
It is multilayered with a lot of structure.
