'Sweet Surrounds' is an original painting by Cheryl Harrison.

Cheryl’s studio is based in Far North Queensland, she credits this dramatic and ever changing environment as a major influence in her artwork.

Sweet Surrounds is a fusion of subtle impressions interpreted from nature.

The intuitive mark making and the complex palette of warm ochre and earthy tones combined with pops of light and dark green, blush, black and grey along with the use of negative space strives to express an emotional response to nature and place.

This painting is initialed on the front and signed and titled on the back with a Letter of Authenticity. It is acrylic on un-stretched canvas with a sealer for added protection and comes rolled in a tube, ready for stretching & framing.

This artwork is offered un-stretched as it makes very large scale work more affordable and safer to transport. When stretched, the painting imagery extends around the edges, which allows the painting to look great with or without a decorative frame.
