Taking a break from my slavish devotion to realism and color and experimenting with a new, stream-of-consciousness graphic style.
The skull appeared right away, followed by the flowers. From there, it just seemed natural to add sharp thorns dripping with poison. Remember, just because something is “pretty” or “natural”, doesn’t mean it’s good for you!
The design wraps around the sides adding dimension and surprising new details depending on the angle at which the piece is viewed.
Wired to hang, but can also stand. Looks nice as a single piece, but can also be grouped with similar works.
