Original artwork description:

'Sweet Pea' features my wee bird on top of the world with his heart on a string.
Painted in layers of acrylic paint and acrylic glaze medium, layers are built up rubbing back to reveal previous layers of colour and texture.
Collage is added.
'Sweet Pea' measures 20 x 30cm and is painted on canvas board.
The title is taken from Paul Weller's song Sweet Pea:

'Fill them with love again
Sweet pea
Fill them with joy again
Yes, sweet thing
Fill them with hope again
My sweet pea'

Acrylic paint, acrylic medium glaze, gesso, collage.
