I teach at two universities, one of which teaches economic mathematics and the other one teaches art education methodology. I am over-employed, but I love both fields and I love teaching. This leaves me little time for image-making. Some watercolours or ink drawings, but my passion is oil painting. I was going through withdrawal, one morning in January I hit the surfaces and threw up four bases. This is one of them, the other three are not finished yet. After the cold winter days, I found great joy in the colours, enjoying the smell of the paint, the texture and the pressure of the paint knife. This is reflected in the painting.
Structured oil painting.
The canvas is stretched on a 3D wooden frame and artwork is ready to hang. Framing is not required.
It was inspired by nature.
