Original artwork description:

This is from a series of 20 small abstract landscape that I called "Friday Explorations". My goal was to paint a recognizable landscape - but to really explore the methods of applying the paint, to be freer and more playful in the process. I found that when I tried to hard that the paintings felt "fiddly" and when I relaxed and let go that everything came together more easily. There is probably a life lesson in there somewhere...

The is painting on a cradled birch panel (which I found that I love painting on!) and there is a wire on the back. So it is ready to hang in your home or office. Do we go to offices anymore?? The edges are clear-coated.
