Original artwork description:

The gorgeous caramel colour and weight of this paper inspired the drawing style. The mark making in the white to give volume and black to highlight. A reversal of the usual way of working. Fingers are picked out strongly. The shape is a strong one created by the raised knees and bent arms over the models head, held over a cushion supporting her shoulders. Sitting at ground level to draw gives a great perspective.

White, black and umber conte pastel on caramel paper 31 x 42 cm (12 x 16 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.
