This Oil Pastel on black paper drawing was done on the first evening of a recent family trip to Sun Moon Lake in Nantou, Taiwan. It is the largest lake in Taiwan and a very special place that looks and feels different at all times of the day no matter what the weather. Whenever I visit I always enjoy drawing and painting it at all different times of the day and night. This drawing was done in the evening looking out across the lake towards Sway-Sur town as the lights reflected on the water. It is enjoyable to use Oil Pastels for this kind of picture as they are relatively quick and pliable compared with painting.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
