Original artwork description:

This oil painting is of three friends deeply engaged in conversation in a local eatery called the Zinco Lounge in Swansea, Wales.
It is an opulent looking place with gold embossed wallpaper and numerous paintings of portraits and landscapes beautifully framed in gilded framing.
It has an Imperial air to it, the end of the Empire type feel.
It is also strangely Russian or has a certain Russian Czarist ambience. It is very beautiful in a kitsch, at times, slightly garish way.
Especially when the sun streams through the huge window doors, as it does here to illuminate these wonderful pouffes and these three friend deeply ensconced in their chat.
