Swanage bay
A bracing day by the sea,
Calming light,
As I look across to the cliffs,
The tides drifting out,
I feel so alive.

Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured cold pressed watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200lb.
I used a dry brush technique for the sea, wet on wet for the background washes and a dragging plus pressing technique for the detail of the foliage.
