Original artwork description:

A nod to the series 'Birds on Slate'. I wanted to create a bold and vibrant painting in which both the birds and the flowers were allowed to be the focal point of the piece. I used liquid silver leaf in the background to mimic the shine seen on the glossy feathers of the swallows.

This work is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas and therefore can be hung unframed as the painting continues around the edges of the piece.
