Original artwork description:

I love sushi. So the idea comes in when I decide to paint the things that relate to me. The top view of a sushi roll piece is beautiful but I don't want to paint it in photorealistic style. To me it should feel more casual and more fun. So I start this series. Actually there are 3 series. As you can see I label them S1E1, S1E2 or S2E1. Each series has 3 pieces so 9 pieces in total.
The base is a cradled wood board with linen canvas surface. Cradled side has been covered with gold foil. I install each piece into gold/black floater frame. They are ready to hang. The original goal is to have these 9 pieces hang in the wall like a sushi matrix. :D

Although I've tried my best to match the digital picture to actual product, the color may vary due to different monitor setting. Please be aware of this fact.
