I based the painting on the biblical motif of Susanna and the elders. This ancient motif reminded me of the doings of the powerful new 'Me Too' movement. In my modern interpretation the elders are already represented as old antique sculptures, who look at the beauty of a woman's body from the depths of time, but also cannot harm her.
