This collage is on made on a heavy white cotton background. The wave is made out of lots and lots of little different bits of cotton fabric attached one by one and then brought together by stitching. I have used lots of different blues and denims to give the wave real depth and it works really well. I also added little dots of blue glitter glue which gives the collage a little twinkle in certain angles. You don't really notice it until you get a little twinkle! The surfboards are made of a deep burgundy corduroy - very popular in the surfing world! The dudes are made of a skin coloured cotton fabric so they look rather "real". I have embroidered all the details like their hair, six packs, bandanas etc.
The collage is signed on the front and it is sold un-framed.
