This drawing was inspired by trees in Australia. The plant life there generally intrigued me, and I was specifically drawn to the intricacy of the surface roots and mangrove roots I saw.

I used a 0.5 mm pigment liner on white cartridge paper.

The first image is a scan, and the progress pictures are photos.
