As a family, we take vacations to the South Carolina coast. Surf fishing is a common site. This image depicts the story of a lone fisherman contemplating the ease of a pelicans successful fishing against his unluck at surf fishing. His body posture tell it all. Not even a tug on his line. Painting the ocean is a joy for me. The waves churn up the sand as they roll in and create foam they slide back into the sea. Like watch a camp fire, the waves rolling in and sliding back is hypnotizing.

Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. Signed oil painting. Edges are not painted and the work may be hung straight out of the box or framed.
