This is a watercolour painting of the famous bridge at Avignon in southern France, made popular by the song.
The bridge was partially destroyed in storms, several times, until they abandoned re-building it.
This measures 13” x 9 1/2” unframed, but comes set behind a quality cream mountboard to suit a frame size of 18” x 14”.
