Original artwork description:

Painting pineapples is much like painting a portrait in that it requires a huge amount of concentration to make it all fit together. This was a large supersweet pineapple and was painted over three days. It is painted on a natural linen canvas primed with a clear primer and I used Michael Harding oil paints. The painting is not currently framed but I could arrange for it to be framed if desired.

Materials used:

Oil on linen canvas
