ORIGINAL AWARD WINNING OGNYAN CHITAKOV ARTWORK !!!

2023, "Superstrings" - stone sculpture

This original marble, andesite, gabbro and granite sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the talented Bulgarian contemporary professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov, deeply inspired by geometrical abstraction, modernism, De Stijl and fractal cubism. It is a stunning abstract style scenery and it's an amazing maze of white marble, green andesite, black gabbro and red granite pieces of rock, each polished and carved. The artist's concept is to create an unique three dimensional spatial form with the help of extraordinary labyrinth of lines, details, and depths, both in order and disorder, very much connected with the Dutch art movement De Stijl ("The Style"), also known as Neoplasticism and the superstring theory, which explains all of the particles and fundamental forces of nature in one theory by modeling them as vibrations of tiny supersymmetric strings. The artwork is one amazing modern masterpiece and exquisite home décor.

"The stone material is alive and has a soul. I never ignore it and its gravity as well. I try to give each artwork the feeling of lightness." ... by the artist
