Original artwork description:

'Superstition' is a textured black and white abstract painting created upon a highly textured ground of Gesso. The layers of paint are built up and markings have been randomly etched out to reveal parts of the white underground. There is minimal adjustment in the application of the black paint upon the white allowing for an authentic and spontaneous aesthetic.

The sides of the wood panel are painted white for a clean finish. This work is signed on the front and ready to hang with a wire attached.

This painting works well on its own or as part of an installation with 'Intuition'. Please see in situ images featuring both works.

This painting has been created using professional acrylic paint. A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied to protect against UV light.
