The SUPERCELL is the most spectacular and dangerous storm formation, both majestic and terrifying at the same time. I am fascinated by thunderstorms, dark and bright, predictable and unpredictable, powerful.
There is something hypnotic about watching the sky transform, hearing the sound of the rain dancing, and feeling the power of lightning and thunder. And something magical.
Over the sea, the spectacle of nature becomes even more intense, leaving one breathless.
I took the photo that inspired this painting in Marina di Grosseto, in May 2023, with the beach deserted due to the arrival of the storm.

This painting is the "twin" of Supercella1, although it is not strictly a diptych.

Oil on canvas 100% cotton. The painting has a simple black frame, handmade with wooden laths that are painted and nailed to the canvas.

The signature is present both on the front and back of the canvas. The painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
