Painting: Enamel and paint on Aluminium.

Hopefully this brings the thrill of the fair to mind. This is my submission for this years (2015) Secret 7 Inch. It got picked for the show and was displayed as a one off 7" vinyl cover with a vinyl edition of Peter Gabriel's single - Sledgehammer. The track transports me right back to the fair and being on the Waltzer when I was 15 years old - hearing 'Sledgehammer' for the first time.

The materials chosen (Aluminium and enamel paints) reflect the feel of funfair rides and signs. All of that lovely colour painted on metal and wood using enamel paint.

This is how Secret7" works:
The track was pressed 100 times for this year's Secret 7" project, where each pressing of the single was given a unique cover - This is one of the original chosen artworks. This track was pressed along with 6 others as part of the month long Secret 7" 2015 exhibition at Somerset House in London.

It's painted using enamel paints on 12" x 12" aluminium panel (5mm thick).

This artwork can be framed or could be directly mounted using a variety of fixings.
