In shades of blue the ocean dances with colour and light. As the sun catches the waves at the edge of the sand it shimmers and contrasts against the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean. Made on a day of cloud and sharp sunshine, a day of contrasts and changes when the blocks of colour all around seem to fall into patterns like a collage.

This is a single image made by moving my camera during a long exposure. I love the way the sparkles of light create little patterns of white on blue and the rainy clouds mix with white and blue in the sky.

Image size 60 inches with a 2 inches white border. The title, signature and numbering in the border under the image by default. If you plan to mount the image to the edge of your frame as shown in some of my examples, let me know and I can sign and number on the image and put additional details on the reverse.

Your beautiful artwork will be Giclée printed here in my studio on Skye on fabulous Canson Aquarelle 300gsm Paper. This heavy weight paper has the most fabulous watercolour paper texture and, with the UV resistant non fade inks I use, it holds colour for a lifetime. Canson-Arches have been making paper for over 450 years and supplied artists like Picasso, Ingres, Miro and Warhol to name but a few. The 10 inks I use for my printing are state-of-the-art non fade Epson Ultrachrome K3 with Vivid Magenta, these give each artwork incredible depth and tone.

My work has been exhibited in New York and elsewhere and is collected all over the world; I currently have an exhibition on display in South Korea.
