In this moment in time, where our world holds precious life and meaning for all to come together as one. Our once firm faith in freedom and tolerance; this invasion has become a realized and living threat to all of humanity. The beauty and resources that Ukraine has shared with the world, now faces the ugly, unjustified act of war and destruction.
This painting reflects a time when Ukraine shone a beacon of light, hope and freedom for its people and stability throughout Eastern Europe. A time when the colours of Blue and Yellow symbolized strength, unity, and an enthusiastic spirit. Colours that would pierce through the darkened past of the old regime and claim a future so bright, it would be a Nation that other Nations would aspire to be.
