The fleeting sun followed by rain clouds is weather that I love, and the inspiration for this 60x70cm acrylic paint on linen painting. I built up the grey skies and contrasted with yellows, whites and greens.

I love to drip, splatter and use palette knives as well as paint brushed to get a rich textured surface on the painting.

This painting is unframed. it has white painted edges and us strung with picture cord ready to hang.
