DESCRIPTION: Sunshine and Blue 1 is about beauty in Nature - summer colours of sun, sky and sea. I dream of bright days at the beach, clear blue skies, warm sun and swimming in the sea with friends and family. I'm inspired by such thoughts. The Australian summer has arrived! Because of our current Covid world of science, fact, precision and management of the virus, I’ve considered the lines and shapes to reflect the reality of our existence.

MATERIALS USED: Acrylic paints on stretched canvas. Unframed. Outer frame is optional, but not needed - all the sides are painted as an extension of the picture. Please see side view in additional images.

SHIPPING: Economic and low carbon shipping in a heavy duty plastic tube. Packed to prevent damage in transit. The packaging materials can be re-cycled. This artwork is taken off the stretcher frame to ship. Your local framer will re-mount it on a new stretcher frame, ready to hang. The painting will look the same as in the photos here.

OVERSIZED PACKAGE: Larger than 120cm (48 inches) on the longest side, when packed. This is when the canvas artwork is on a timber frame, ready to hang and packed in a plywood box. Because it’s a big, heavy package, shipping charges are very high.

INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS SHIPPING FROM AUSTRALIA: Because this packed artwork is oversized, I take it off the stretcher frame and ship in a tube. You then have a small package with a low shipping charge. The painting will need re-stretching by your local picture framer.
