Continuing a series of paintings of sunsets, this semi-abstract piece combines representational elements with more abstract passages. The work is painted using a combination of techniques balancing impressionistic brush work with colour fields made with squeegees. The muted palette of red and purple tones backgrounds the yellow light of the setting sun reflected in the water below, creating a peaceful and tranquil place to rest one's gaze.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness, on professional quality stretched canvas by Belle Arti measuring 30cm by 30 cm. The work is signed on the reverse.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.
