I created this watercolor piece en plein air, moved by the captivating allure of Croatia’s breathtaking coastline.

The painting captures a tender scene—a couple seated by the water’s edge, immersed in the warm, golden embrace of the setting sun as its light dances across the waves.

With gentle, translucent washes, I sought to convey the delicate colors of twilight and the calming pulse of the sea. Soft tones and gentle shadows meld together, inviting a sense of peace and quietude to the scene.
