Original artwork description:

After a particularly warm day at sunset when the sun went down the air was suddenly cold, causing the mist to rise up from the sea, on this particularly misty evening, swirling round the boats in the harbour.
I especially loved the contrast between the warm peach colour of the sunset and the cool greys in the rising mist, and painted this picture later using artists quality oil paints on a canvas panel.
