This painting was inspired by the breathtaking sunset on Pleshcheyevo lake which is located in the city of Pereslavl - Zalessky in Russia. It was a quiet, warm evening and I went to the shore of the lake and I was stunned by the colors of the sky and water! It was incredible! I could not take my eyes off the splendor of this landscape! And I realized that I have to share this beauty with the viewer!
